Teriyaki Shrimp Bowl

I made this on accident then it was delicious. Also, did you know that there are food bloggers that take pictures of food on purpose and make them pretty? In case you were confused, that is not me.

I am an ADHD blogger who takes pictures when she remembers. My only goal is to share things I find that make life just a little bit easier so we can spend our brain on things that really matter… like learning everything there is to know about tap dancing.

Ok here’s the delicious and easy part. It’s a teriyaki shrimp bowl and the best part is how many hacks there are to make it EVEN easier- like using 90 second rice for example.

Here is what you need to make it just like the picture.

  • Shrimp (raw, peeled, tail off)
  • Long Grain White Rice
  • Avocado
  • Teriyaki Sauce
  • Pineapple (pre cut from the produce section)
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Sriracha

Then do this:

  • Cook the rice according to package directions (we use our instant pot so we can set it and forget it)
  • Saute the shrimp on medium high heat for ~3 minutes per side or until pink (we used butter)
  • Then add the teriyaki sauce to the shrimp
  • Cut the avocado however you’d like
  • Add shrimp, avocado, pineapple, sesame seeds, and hot sauce to a bowl of rice and enjoy!
